History's most frightening football team
BACKS
In the back pocket Idi Amin (Uganda bully and dictator) - big, lazy but no one would be game to contest the ball near him.
At Full back Robert Mugabe (Zimbabwe's total dictator) would ensure no full forward got a touch by both fair and foul means.
Josip Tito (Yugolsav powerbroker) in the other back pocket would ensure the defence was tight and followed total destruction of the forwards.
HALF-BACKS
On the half back flank Saddam Hussein (Iraqi dictator) would force the half forwards into the fence and probably deep under ground.
Dominating centre half back Ivan the Terrible would smash any peasant attempts to gain the ball.
Completing the half back line Francisco Franco (Spain's Dictator) would make sure no one got an easy kick.
CENTRES
On the wing the desperate and crazy Muamar el-Gadhafi (Libya) would run everywhere desperate to get a kick and be noticed.
Controlling and directing the play in the middle is Ghenghis Khan (greatest warlord of Mongols) he would leave none standing who dared to oppose him - fast, savage and brutal he was very irritable and upsetting him should be avoided at all costs.
Running recklessly off the other wing is Vladamir Lenin (Russian Revolution) but while he is dangerous he tends to stay on the edge and would be reluctant to team up much with Stalin as he rampages throughout the mid field.
HALF-FORWARDS
Dangerous and elusive half forward Osama Bin Laden (Arab terrorist) is always on the edge waiting for his opportunity to needle the opposition and to disappear as soon the defence tries to shut him down.
Powerful and frightening centre half forward Pol Pot (Cambodia genocide), while he may be too fat to move much - would scare any defenders away, literally murdering any who got in his way and would be able to do whatever he wanted to do.
The other half forward would be Napoleon Bonaparte (French emperor) who would be lucky to play up the ground given his small size and little legs and habit of shoving his arm up his jumper - but his ego and inspirational presence demands he is close to the action.
FORWARDS
Sneaking inTO the forward pocket telling everyone how dangerous and talented he is would be Benito Mussolini.
Mao Tze Tung would be the ideal full forward - you had to give the ball to him, and even if he missed it would still be called a goal.
Kim Jong Un opportunist and spoiled new leader would be lurking for the crumbs in the other pocket - and would no doubt sulk and threaten to blow up the ball if he didn't get it enough.
RUCKS
Rasputin, invincible and charismatic would lead the first ruck and despite being hated by the members would give this side first touch time and time again.
Joseph Stalin would be a brutal and merciless ruck rover snaking all opposition and no doubt a couple of his fringe players as well.
Adolf Hitler whose pace was decorated in the First World War would be a dynamic and greedy rover trying to take over the whole ground.
