Was it a point? Video review please!

Tony Liberatore's shot at goal in the early stages of the last quarter of the 1997 preliminary final would have almost certainly put the Dogs into the Grand Final if it had been a goal. And many people believe it was a goal. Would the decision have been reversed if today's video review option was in place?

Every sane person in the known universe knows that was a goal. I was directly behind the kick. It was clearly INSIDE the goalpost. And look at the reaction of James Cook (and someone else who I can't pick) in the goal square! The same with Brett Montgomery, Paul Hudson and Libba himself. They all knew, too. We wuz robbed!

There may be things, like the ever-changing rules, the banning ofthe shirt-front, arbitrary league headquarter pronouncements, etc. that we don't like at all but Video Review of today can stop obvious outrages like this GOAL going in the books for 1 pt. If you have the technology, use it. Naturally , it was Libba victimized
