Senior Premierships
Peninsula Football League (MPFL) - 1957-8 (2 total); Nepean Football League (NFL) - 1966-7-8, 1973, 1977, 1985 (6 total); MPNFL Nepean Division - 2001 (1 total)
The Magpies have struggled of late, with the seniors last contesting the finals in 2004, and the club’s other grades also finding the going tough. However, overall the club’s post war record is excellent, with the senior side claiming a total of nine premierships in three different competitions. The earliest of these came in 1957 in the Mornington Peninsula Football League, and it was promptly followed by a second in succession. During the 1960s Crib Point transferred to the Nepean Football League in which it procured a hat trick flags between 1966 and 1968. Two further triumphs followed in the 1970s, with a sixth and final NFL premiership coming in 1985.
The 1987 season saw the NFL and MPFL amalgamating to form the Mornington Peninsula Nepean Football League. The Magpies struggled for a time in their new surroundings, and did not manage to qualify for a grand final until 1999, when they lost by 11 points to Berwick. A second grand final appearance followed two years later, with Pearcedale providing the opposition, and this time Crib Point was victorious by a resounding 77 point margin, 23.10 (148) to 10.11 (71).
Since coming fourth in 2004 the Magpies have endured a mediocre time, finishing seventh (of twelve), seventh (of eleven), ninth (of eleven) and eleventh and last.
