Forest Hill

After three years of fielding only junior teams, Forest Hill commenced as a senior club in 1970. Since then the club has been affiliated with the Eastern (District) Football League, competing mainly in Divisions Three and Four. The seniors’ only premiership success came in 1984 when they accounted for The Basin in the Division Three grand final by 42 points, 18.15 (123) to 12.9 (81). They reached another Division Three grand final in 1993, but lost heavily to Warrandyte.

For most of the last two decades the Zebras have been a Division Four club. Recent seasons have featured some strong performances including losing grand finals in 2013 against South Belgrave and 2017 at the hands of Donvale. The 2018 season saw them qualify for the finals and ultimately finish fourth before dropping to sixth place in 2019.
