Richmond Reserves

Between 2001 and 2013 Richmond was aligned with VFL club Coburg, which adopted the Tigers moniker as part of the arrangement. In 2014, however, the club opted to go it alone with its own VFL reserves side. In the five seasons engaged in to date the Tigers have finished twelfth (of sixteen) in 2014, thirteenth (of fifteen) in 2015, ninth (of fifteen) in 2016, runners-up in 2017 and fifth (after topping the ladder ahead of the finals) in 2018. Opposed in the 2017 grand final by Port Melbourne Richmond seemed to have the match won late on only for the Borough to rattle on three last gasp unanswered goals and sneak home by 4 points, 11.8 (74) to 10.10 (70).
