St. Paul's East Bentleigh

The Doggies boast a commendable recent record with the senior grade side having claimed three Division One flags in the last decade. In 2008 they overcame St. Kilda City in the grand final by 19 points, 10.16 (76) to 7.15 (57). This was followed in 2011 by a 16.15 (111) to 7.10 (52) grand final defeat of East Brighton. The Doggies' most recent premiership success came in 2013 when East Brighton were again defeated on grand final day, this time with scores of 15.9 (99) to 11.10 (76). The club' reserve grade side made it a memorable year all round when they also finished top.

Subsequent seasons have seen the Doggies continuing to compete in Division One, finishing third in 2014, fifth in 2015, seventh in 2016 and fourth in 2017 before breaking through for their fourth flag at that level in 2018. Comfortably top of the ladder after the home and away rounds they dispensed with the second semi final challenge of East Malvern by 13 points, 11.9 (75) to 9.8 (62). A fortnight later when the same two sides fronted up on grand final day the result was the same, although on this occasion the victory was achieved with rather more comfort by a margin of 38 points and scores of 11.10 (76) to 5.8 (38).
