South Ballarat

South Ballarat performed creditably during its three season stint as a senior VFA club, particularly in Ballarat. Among its vanquished opponents during this time were St Kilda (twice), Fitzroy, Richmond, Footscray and Port Melbourne. In 1893 the club commenced in the Ballarat Football League where it remained until the outbreak of world war two, claiming the creditable total of nine senior grade premiership wins.
