Tatyoon first entered the Mininera and District Football League in 1924, which was the competition’s second season. The club took a while to establish itself, and did not manage to capture a senior grade flag until 1946, but since then it has added another nine making it the competition’s joint most successful member (along with Lake Bolac). The last decade and a half has been particularly fruitful for the Hawks, yielding half a dozen senior grade premierships, including three in a row between 2006 and 2008.
