Tumbarumba

The ‘Roos competed in the Upper Murray Football League between 1971 and 1995, with a losing grand final in 1980 their best finish. They then went into recess for a season, resuming in 1997 and reaching a second senior grade grand final, which once again was lost, in 1998. The club’s third senior grade grand final appearance came in 2009 and resulted in defeat at the hands of Bullioh by a margin of 25 points. Finally, in 2012 the 'Roos broke through to claim their first ever senior grade flag thanks to a 13.11 (89) to 12.4 (76) grand final defeat of Cudgewa. A year later they went back to back after overcoming Bullioh on grand final day by 33 points, 15.12 (102) to 10.9 (69). Fortunes have declined since then with the 'Roos finishing fourth in 2014, third in 2015, fourth in 2016 and sixth and last in both 2017 and 2018.

Tumbarumba are the only New South Wales based club in the predominantly Victorian Upper Murray Football League.
