The Seagulls’ history is highlighted by two hat tricks of premierships, from 1972 to 1974, and between 1981 and 1983. The first of these was won in the Leven Football Association, in which Turners Beach competed between 1971 and 1975. The Seagulls’ grand final victims were South Riana in 1972 and 1973 and Sprent in 1974. Since 1976 Turners Beach has been a member of the North Western Football Association. Its hat trick of flags in this competition came at the expense of Motton Preston in 1981 by a whopping 117 point margin, Motton Preston again in 1982, and Ulverstone Districts in 1983. Their most recent senior grade flag was claimed in 1995 by means of a 23.10 (148) to 15.9 (99) grand final defeat of Motton Preston
