Yallourn Yallourn North

To date, the Bombers have played off in eight senior grade grand finals, winning in 1986 against Trafalgar, 1987 against Thorpdale, and both 1993 and 1996 at the expense of Trafalgar. The four losses occurred in 1994 and 1995, on both occasions at the hands of Trafalgar, 2015 versus Yinnar and 2016 to Newborough. Yallourn Yallourn North topped the ladder ahead of the 2017 finals series but suffered the disappointment of bowing out of the flag race in "straight sets" after losing to Yinnar by 4 points in the second semi final and Mirboo North by 5 goals in the preliminary final. The following season brought almost identical fortunes with Yinnar inflicting the preliminary final coup de grace.
