Since commencing in the Mid Gippsland Football League in 1976 Yarragon has managed to reach the senior grade grand final only once.That was in 1977, and the Panthers scraped home by 7 points against Newborough. Final scores were Yarragon 13.8 (86) defeated Newborough 11.13 (79).
