Geelong’s Kevin ‘Shifter’ Sheehan was a rover and forward pocket with smooth ball handling skills who tended to be particularly conspicuous in wet, muddy conditions. Although of small stature (177cm, 76kg) he was strong overhead, and his distribution skills, both by foot and hand, were excellent. Between 1974 and 1982 he played 102 VFL games for the Cats and kicked 112 goals.
