From Drysdale, full forward Adam Richardson had a brief but noteworthy SANFL career with West Adelaide which included a club best and fairest win in 1998, and Ken Farmer Medals for the top goal kicker in the competition in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001. He was picked up by Adelaide in the 2001 Pre-Season Draft but managed just two games and a goal for the year before being de-listed.
