George Kennedy was a good all round performer for North Melbourne in 80 VFL games from 1937 to 1942 and between 1946 and 1948. He enjoyed a particularly noteworthy 1941 season, kicking 47 of the 124 goals he managed during his time with the Shinboners, and tying for the club’s best and fairest award with Bill Findlay.
