Originally from Collingwood Tech, Harold Shillinglaw was a capable utility who carved out a fine, if brief, career for himself at Fitzroy. Between 1945 and 1951 he played 63 VFL games for the Roys and scored 19 goals. Shillinglaw was also a useful cricketer who played three times for Victoria.
