Moorabbin

The original Moorabbin Football Club, which like the present day incarnation was known as the Kangaroos, had a stint in the Victorian Football Association, capturing premierships in 1957 and 1963 as well as finishing second twice. Moorabbin Mark Two also spent time in the VFA (1983-1987) without achieving premiership success. Today’s Kangaroos enjoyed such success in Division Three of the Southern Football League in 2005, and again in 2012 when they accounted for the grand final challenge of Sandown by 31 points, 9.8 (62) to 4.7 (31). Back in 1993 they were one of only three clubs to obtain a premiership in the SFL's short-lived Division Five competition. The 2018 season saw them lining up in the newly formed SFL Division Four competition and performing solidly to end up in sixth place
