Brocklesby Burrumbuttock

The Brocklesby and Burrumbuttock Football Clubs elected to merge in 2006 and the decision has proved a wise one. Both merger partners had claimed a couple of Hume Football League premierships, Brocklesby in 1950 and 1958, and Burrumbuttock in 1951 and 1969. As a merged entity the Saints claimed senior grade flags in 2013, thanks to a 5 goal grand final defeat of Holbrook, 2015, when Henty were overcome on grand final day by 14 points, and 2016, when their grand final victims were Jindera. The 2017 season brought something of a decline in fortunes as the Saints' premiership bid was ended at the elimination final stage by Culcairn but winning ways were resumed in a 2018 season which culminated in a 15.19 (109) to 8.11 (59) grand final defeat of Jindera. A year later the Saints again made the grand final only to lower their colours on this occasion to Osborne by a margin of six goals.
