Carlisle Amateur Football Club has been involved in the Western Australian Amateur Football League for well over half a century. The club’s league side currently competes in C1 Grade, but has been as high as A Grade in the past. In 2018 the Cougars got as far as a one goal elimination final loss to Gosnells. A year later they dropped down the list to sixth.

In addition to the five premierships attained by its league team, Carlisle has won numerous other flags in various other grades.
