Dajarra Rhinos
Named after a local hotel, the Rhinos fronted up in AFL Mount Isa for the first time in 2018, bringing the total number of clubs in the competition to five. Many of the club's players had met each other playing cricket for Mount Isa Panthers, who like the Rhinos have pink and white playing uniforms. The fledgling club's debut season was not exceptional in terms of matches won but an excellent club spirit bodes well for the future. Subsequent seasons have brought slow but steady improvement.
