Formed in 1990 after Dianella merged with Morley, Dianella Morley affiliated with the Western Australian Amateur Football League the following year. The Raiders' first senior grade flag triumph to date came in 1994 in H Grade.

In recent seasons Dianella Morley have competed in C3 Grade. In 2014 they qualified for the finals in second position and ultimately finished third. The following season saw them again take part in the finals only to bow out at the first hurdle against Swan View, a result which left the Raiders in fifth position. A slight decline followed in 2016 when their tally of 8 wins from 18 matches was only good enough for sixth place on the ten team premiership ladder. In 2017, however, the Raiders improved out of all recognition, qualifying for the finals in second place before progressing to a hard earned premiership on the strength of a 14.15 (99) to 11.10 (76) grand final defeat of pre-match favourites SNESA. Earlier, Dianella Morley had endured a somewhat topsy-turvy finals series which got underway with a 37 point qualifying final loss to Ellenbrook. The following week brought a steadying 11.10 (76) to 10.6 (66) first semi final defeat of Mosman Park before the Raisers obtained revenge against Ellenbrook with a 14.13 (97) to 11.5 (71) preliminary final win. The grand final was still expected to be a case of a bridge too far for the Raiders, who had lost both of their minor round encounters with SNESA, but they were indisputably the better team and could confidently be expected to give C2 Grade a hefty shake in 2018.

This indeed is what occurred as the 2018 season saw the Raiders perform strongly throughout and ultimately get as far as a narrow preliminary final loss to Warnbro Swans. After another finals appearance for an eventual fourth place finish in 2019 the Raiders endured a disappointing 2020 campaign which saw them slip down the list to eighth.
