East Melbourne

East Melbourne competed in the Victorian Football Association from 1880 to 1882 before disbanding. During its first couple of seasons it was regarded as a junior club and in 1879 it defeated every other junior club in the competition to claim an unofficial premiership. Promoted to senior status in 1880 the club struggled, and in fact failed to record a single win during its three years of involvement. Its overall record as a senior VFA club was 4 draws and 25 losses from 29 games.
