Figtree

Figtree commenced in the South Coast AFL's Division One competition in 2012 having spent the previous two seasons competing at reserve grade only. In 2016 they qualified for the finals in fourth place which was where they ultimately finished after losing the first semi final against Kiama. A year later they again reached the finals and ended up being placed fifth. This was followed by another fourth place finish in 2018 and a rise of one place on the premiership ladder in 2019. The 2020 season was conducted on a reduced scale basis because of the coronavirus pandemic. The Kangaroos enjoyed an excellent campaign culminating in a 12.9 (81) to 8.6 (54) grand final defeat of Nowra Albatross, giving them their first senior grade flag.
