Jandakot Jets

Jandakot Jets Junior Football Club was formed in March 2009 with a senior team being added in 2011, and competing initially in the WAAFL's C4 Grade competition where they proved competitive from the start. They qualified for a first ever finals series in 2013 before blotting their copybook by slumping to the wooden spoon the following year. The 2015 season brought marginal improvement as the Jets' tally of 5 wins was good enough for ninth place on the eleven team premiership ladder. In 2016 they improved still further, qualifying for the finals in second place and ultimately finishing fourth after losing their first semi final clash with an uncannily accurate Cottesloe side by 23 points. Scores were Cottesloe 11.1 (67) defeated Jandakot Jets 5.14 (44). The 2017 season brought a marginal slump in fortune as the Jets finished one place adrift of finals qualification. A year later they produced an exemplary campaign during which all 18 matches contested were won culminating in a 17.10 (112) to 8.3 (51) grand final defeat of Osborne Park.
