Jindalee Jags WFC
The Jags got underway in 2015 when they competed in the Queensland Women's Football Association, qualifying for the finals and ultimately finishing fourth. A year later they performed even better, finishing the home and away rounds in second spot with a 12-2 record. Unfortunately, their finals form let them down, and they ultimately came third after losing the preliminary final to Yeronga South Brisbane. The 2017 season brought a comprehensive restructuring of the women's game in Queensland and Jindalee found themselves consigned to Division One of the Queensland Women's Football Association. It proved to be a year to forget for the women in yellow and blue as they lost all 14 matches contested in crashing to the wooden spoon as a result of which they were demoted to Division Two North. The 2018 season brought considerable improvement as the Jags topped the ladder ahead of the finals before clinching the premiership with resounding wins over Hinterland Blues in the second semi final by 58 points and Sandgate in the grand final by 34 points. Making the achievement all the more noteworthy was that the Jags won all 14 matches contested for the year.
