The Mustangs’ most recent senior grade flag was attained in 2003 by means of an 11.8 (74) to 9.9 (63) grand final defeat of Pinjarra. The win was revenge for a loss incurred in the previous season’s premiership decider, Pinjarra emerging triumphant on that occasion by 14 points.

Mandurah have made one senior grade grand final appearance since 2003, losing by 94 points to Waroona in 2010. More recently they have tended to struggle at or near the foot of the premiership ladder.
