Melville
Since world war two Melville has spent time in each of the Western Australian Amateur Football League’s top four divisions and claimed a total of four senior grade flags. The club also spent the period between 1980 and 1984 competing in the Western Australian Football Association. Between 2012 and 2015 the Rams competed in the WAAFL's C1 Grade where they experienced gradually improving fortunes. In 2015 they had one of their better seasons, qualifying for the finals in second place which was where they ultimately ended up after going down to Quinns District in the grand final by 13 points, thereby earning promotion. Their excursion to B Grade was fleeting, however, as they won only 4 matches for the year to succumb to relegation. Even worse was to follow, for in 2017 the Rams managed just 4 wins from 14 C1 Grade matches to finish with the wooden spoon, although fortunately they did not incur a second consecutive relegation as the WAAFL underwent a restructuring exercise. The 2018 season brought measurable improvement as the Rams won 10 0f their 18 matches to finish sixth.
