Amidst a burgeoning of interest in women's football in Queensland the Vultures were one of numerous new clubs to take their bows in 2018. Assigned to Division Two South of the QWFA they enjoyed a promising debut season, getting as far as a losing preliminary final clash with eventual premiers Morningside.
