Queenstown Crows

The Queenstown Crows is a football club with a proud tradition. While only being part of the Darwin Football Association (DFA) since 1994, the club was a stalwart of the Queenstown Football Association (1924-1963) and the Western Tasmanian Football Association (1963-1993).The Crows are probably best known for their grass free, gravel covered home ground. Their breakthrough senior premiership in the DFA was claimed in emphatic fashion in 1997 thanks to a 21.13 (139) to 9.10 (64) grand final defeat of Cuprona. The club again achieved premiership success in 2014 by means of a 12.13 (85) to 11.9 (75) grand final victory over Somerset. Subsequent seasons have seen them finish third (2015), fifth (2016, third (2017) and runners-up to South Burnie (2018).
