The Bombers have been a force in recent seasons, capturing five senior grade premierships since 2005 and most recently in 2013 when they accounted for Diggers Rest in the grand final. The last four seasons have seen them finish third (2014), fourth (2015), runners-up (2016), fourth (2017) and runners-up (2018).

Details of the club’s early years are sketchy but at least two premierships had been claimed by the outbreak of world war one. Most of the Bombers’ history has been spent in the Riddell District Football League with the first of a dozen senior grade flags (including three in Division Two) in that competition coming their way in 1947. Only Romsey have won more senior grade RDFL premierships than the Bombers.
