South East Suns

Since being re-branded as the South East Suns prior to the 2015 season the club has developed into a force to be reckoned with. Competing in the QAFA's A Grade competition the Suns were runners up in 2015 before claiming the premiership the following year thanks to a 15.13 (103) to 8.5 (53) grand final defeat of Kedron. The club is aligned with AFL counterpart Gold Coast Suns. In 2017 the club only fielded a women's team.
