The Bulldogs were in dire danger of folding prior to the 2009 football season and, despite managing to survive, failed to win any of their 12 roster matches to finish last. The club was a force when it first formed, claiming senior grade premierships in both its second and third seasons. It was finally compelled to close its doors in 2014.
