Ungarie

With sixteen senior grade premierships to their name, the Magpies have been the Northern Riverina Football League’s third most successful club. Their greatest era was the 1950s and early 1960s. Between 1950 and 1962 they contested virtually every senior grade grand final, emerging victorious from half a dozen of them. The ‘Pies were also a major force around the turn of the century, capturing a hat trick of flags between 1999 and 2001. More recently, they claimed the 2015 premiership thanks to a 14.8 (92) to 12.13 (75) grand final defeat of Lake Cargelligo. They went on to finish third in both 2016 and 2017 and fifth in 2018.

Footypedia records Ungarie as having won additional senior grade premierships in 1920 and 1926 while the club's Wikipedia entry asserts that the club went top in 1923. Such claims have proved difficult either to disprove or verify.
