Uraidla Districts

The Demons have been a force in the Hills Football League’s top division since they were established in 1997. To date, their senior grade side has contested no fewer than eleven grand finals, emerging triumphant in 2005 against Mount Barker, 2009 at the expense of Blackwood, 2010 versus Mount Barker again, 2011 against Blackwood and 2013 against Mount Barker. The 2009 season in particular was quite exceptional by any standards as all three of the club’s senior grade teams claimed premierships. More recently the Demons have been competitive without adding to their premiership haul. For example, in 2017 they comfortably qualified for the finals and ended up in third place after losing the preliminary final to eventual premiers Blackwood by a margin of 20 points. A year later they again played finals football but could not get past Hahndorf in either the second semi final or grand final.
