Whitford
Formed in 1976 the Warriors were admitted to the WAAFL's F Grade competition the same year. They immediately proved competitive, finishing as runners-up in both their debut season and 1977. After the 1977 season they were promoted to D Grade where they continued to perform strongly, eventually earning promotion to C Grade after losing the 1980 grand final. The club's first senior premiership was won in C Grade in 1986. They have since added B Grade flags in 1992 and 2003 to their haul. To date, their best finishes have been third places in A Grade in 2004 and 2009. The 2017 season saw the Warriors competing in A Grade for the fifth time in their history after they lost the 2016 B Grade grand final to Wembley by 3 points. Their time in the WAAFL's top tier was fleeting, however, as they managed just a couple of wins to slump to the wooden spoon and with it relegation back to B Grade where, in 2018, they qualified for the finals and were ultimately placed fourth.
