My full time gig is in communications, although I previously worked in sports development (I completed a Bachelor of Business / Sports Management degree back when Pearl Jam was worth listening to). For a few years I moonlighted as a freelance writer, published by Inside Sport magazine, The Sunday Age Sport and a range of online publications. As for my footy credentials, a season with Hawthorn's U17s, back when Dermie was strutting the strut, probably overstated my ability. Alas, since the age of five I've been unable to shake an obsessive Collingwood disorder.
