Match number three for the Saturday timeslot finds us taking the tram to the bay, where the Tigers took on the Crows at the Gliderol Stadium in Glenelg. The Tigers took all the spoils from their two games at Gliderol last year, the first in Round 8 by 41 points and then in Round 15 by 17 points. Only the Tigers took points in Round 6, they brought the Bloods back to earth by 25 points at Richmond while the Crows continue to look for the first points of Season 2018 after going down to the Roosters.
The Crows started off best on the scoreboard, they were leading by a goal at quarter-time after a 4.2 to 3.2 opening stanza. But the forwards switched off in the second term, kicking five behinds while the Tigers rallied to a half-time lead of eight points after they managed to score 3.1. The Tigers would end up with 27 more tackles than the Crows, such was their hunger for the contest after a less than sterling start. The Bays kept up their assault when play resumed, although the Crows goal-kicking improved the home side were just that much efficient.
The Tigers added 6.3 to 3.1 to stretch their advantage to 28 points by three quarter-time. Glenelg done all they needed to do by time-on, all up they scored 5.2 to Adelaide's 4.3 for a 33-point victory.
