Sunday afternoon football at Unley Oval saw the Double Blues face a rampant Bulldogs outfit. There isn't much to tell here, the visitors took the Blues by the throat and didn't let go for the entire match.
Centrals started the day with a 31 point quarter time lead, keeping Sturt to 1.1. They followed that effort up with a further 5.3 to 1.2, extending their lead to 56 points going into the long break. Nothing changed when play resumed, Centrals kept going on their merry way, destroying Sturt's back men and added 5.4 to 2.5 in the third term. An eight goal final term just added insult to the massive injury, the Dogs romped back to Elizabeth as 119 point winners. Danny Schell kicked five goals for the day.
