AFL: 4,294th player to appear, 3,369th most games played, 1,128th most goals kickedSt. Kilda: 716th player to appear, 215th most games played, 64th most goals kicked

Alby Weiss joined St Kilda from Melbourne High School and made his senior VFL debut in round nine 1935. Although he struggled to cement a place in the side he was impressive enough when selected. Pacy, with good vision, he revelled in the open spaces and loved to run with the ball. He also boasted a keen goal sense, as his career tally of 94 goals in 69 VFL matches over eight seasons makes apparent. He played most of his football with the Saints on a half forward flank.
