Bert Pierce was a classy centreman from Bendigo who was a stand-out performer for St Kilda in 64 VFL games from 1909 to 1913, during which he booted 10 goals. He played for Victoria at the 1911 Adelaide carnival. When he left the Saints he joined South Bendigo, where he saw out his playing career.
