Quite talented and very consistent, Brian Cordy was one of three brothers, along with Graeme and Neil, to play for Footscray. A wingman or defender, he played 124 VFL games and kicked 18 goals for the Bulldogs between 1981 and 1988. He then spent the 1989 season with West Adelaide in the SANFL where he played 23 games and kicked 23 goals.
