From Kyabram, Bryan Pleitner was a useful wingman whose twin career highlights were helping West Perth defeat East Perth in both the 1969 and 1971 WANFL grand finals. Between 1969 and 1972 he played 63 games for the Cardinals and booted nine goals. Prior to heading west he had registered 28 games and seven goals with Footscray from 1965 to 1968 and one game and no goals with Hawthorn in 1968.
