Something of a football paradox in that he was unobtrusive whilst simultaneously managing to accumulate high possession stats, Daniel McPherson was a useful player for Sydney without ever quite establishing himself as a regular in the seniors. His 10 season career between 1994 and 2003 saw him play just 111 games and kick 36 goals. Nicknamed ‘Frosty’, he was a prodigious kick and very resilient, well suited to his usual positions of half back flank or back pocket.
