Eddie Morcom was a handy half forward and half back flanker whose league football career was curtailed by world war two. He played 75 VFL games and scored 18 goals for North Melbourne from 1937 to 1939 and in 1944-5. He rounded off his playing career with 16 VFA games and 17 goals for Brunswick in 1946.
