Frank Goode was a useful all round footballer who played 73 VFL games and kicked 107 goals for North Melbourne between 1961 and 1967. Prior to that he had played with Moe and Heyfield. He produced his best form during the second half of his career, when he played mostly at full forward. He was North's top goal kicker with 38 goals in 1965 and 49 the following year. He retired in 1968, at the age of 28, in order to travel overseas.
