From East Geelong, Frank Moran was a plucky and skilful all rounder who played with style, cleverness and verve. Of small stature, he belied this with the tenacity of his approach, and was considered unfortunate not to achieve state selection. From 1907 to 1911 he played 65 VFL games for Geelong and scored three goals.
