Hawthorn’s Geoff Angus was the grandson of former Collingwood and Williamstown footballer George Angus. Probably best described as a utility, he played most frequently in the centre, including the Hawks’ winning grand final against St Kilda in 1971. Between 1967 and 1973 he played 73 league games for Hawthorn and scored 35 goals.
