Wingman Jimmy Sullivan joined with fellow wingman Jack Garden and centreman Charlie May to give Essendon their famed ‘mosquito fleet’ centreline of the early 1920s. Pacy with accurate disposal skills he played 90 games and kicked 20 goals for the Dons between 1918 and 1925. In 1924 he played in all three round robin finals matches as Essendon procured the premiership. He also played interstate football for Victoria.
