From Geelong West, Geelong’s Neil Tucker was a hard working, vigorous centreman and half forward/half back flanker whose blind turn was said to be second to none. His distribution skills, particularly his drop kicking, were excellent. During the war when Geelong went into temporary recess he crossed to Carlton but only played twice in 1943. His career with the Cats encompassed the years 1935 to 1941 and 1944 during which he played 61 VFL games and scored 20 goals.
