After struggling to make his mark at Collingwood (17 VFL games, seven goals, 1986-8) Paul Rizonico became a dual premiership player after moving to Port Adelaide. Used mainly as a defender by the South Australian Magpies, his 102 SANFL games for the club from 1989 to 1994 saw him boot 22 goals. He was a member of Port’s 1990 and 1992 premiership-winning teams. He hailed originally from Bundoora, a north eastern suburb of Melbourne.
